The warning signs of a heart attack differ. Some people only have minor side effects. Others are suffering from serious symptoms. Some people experience no symptoms.


The following are common heart attack symptoms:


Pain in the chest that feels like tension, tightness, pain, pressing, or pain

Pain or discomfort that grows to the shoulder, arm, back, neck, jaw, teeth, or upper belly.

Sweating cold

  • Fatigue
  • Stomach pain or heartburn
  • Headaches or dizziness that occurs suddenly
  • Nausea
  • Breathing trouble

Women may experience abnormal changes such as brief or sharp pain in the neck, arm, or back. Sudden cardiac arrest is sometimes the first symptom of a heart attack.
